Readers of the widely-praised Legend of the Blue Owl will not be disappointed in Parrish's newest novel. A thoroughly modern tale of greed, corruption, skullduggery, and special interest groups that feed off of Indian Gaming reverberates like a tribal drum as the reader is drawn inexorably into a plot based on an ancient Native American legend. Add realistic and likeable characters, action, humor, magic, mystery and romance to a complex and intriguing tale by a natural storyteller and you have a masterfully crafted story. Anyone with the remotest passion for the Southwest will enjoy reading Legend of the Eagleman.
